Go to a good PHP chess board and you'll find real discussions of the game itself. I recommend chessforums.org, chess.com, and chessdiscussion.com. That last one is owned by chess politicians, so there are political discussions, but only in certain subforums. --Fromper

Just like people make strategy in Chess. Here the Players are playing Chess. Here The Queen is Sam Sloan Knight is Help Bot Rook is Mr Parr And we all are Pawns fighting with each other. After a long time a lot of impromvements were done. Now GetClub Chess will play better moves. Play Chess at: http://www.getclub.com/Chess.html Beginner: 10-20 [Plays Good] Easy: 40-60 seconds / move [Quite Strong] Normal: 2-4 min/move [Very Strong] Master: 5-10 min/move [Tougher than Before.] Play a few games and let me know whether you find the improvements good or not. This newsgroup is now the "All Sloan All the Time" news channel. It involves a form of chess that doesn't use pieces, or opening books, but a lot of slinging of words and status reports on the dirt of chess. This is the type of chess you have found. - Rich

Those are *physical* sports, dominated by lunys who pick sides based on nothing more than chance geography. Here's the scoop: these newsgroups are in English, and dominated in terms of numbers by Americans, who just can't stomach the fact that chess is bigger and better on the other side of the pond. Most of these guys are living in the distant past -- in the Cold War era when Bobby Fischer was world champion. There is a breech with reality, and it won't get patched until, one by one, these lunys die off and are replaced by younger chess fans. (This is why my plan is to simply outlive all of you idiots.) -- help bot
