Amazing, especially since they did all this without any "training"
from Susan Polgar and Paul Truong!!

Of course they were Neil & both of them avidly partook of the crisp
french bread, scotch salmon, ripe young cheese, black lumpfish roe, rack
of lamb in currant gravine, pate de foie, filet mignon & pudding de la
Reign - et vous?..

So were the Bonnie and Clyde of Chess in Dresden at all?

Weighs in The Brain - since it is evidently his opinion that cynical
callow and even cowardly snipping is some 'counter-balance' to the
success of the players and of the country, as reported here, and
indeed, by journalists everywhere. My own reporting and
congratulations are, though topically the same, are still not
journalism to The Brain, who labors under the chains, methinks.

I have asked The Brain questions before on his own little caustic
commentaries regarding Polgar and Truong, and met the same level of
irresponse.

Here we have a jurist who does not understand 'rectus in juria' and so
by evidence his writing goes slumming with Sloan.

Not yet does anyone exclaim, "capitanes capti sumus", nor by this
evidence are they likely to.

When the team brought home a Silver being the team's highest
performance ever.

It is amazing indeed, that Polgar and Truong are introduced negatively
into almost everything Sam Sloan writes, in this instance even blaming
them for an actually superior performance - while he still maintains
that after is it 10,000 such mentions he is not obsessed.

While such sickly posts are declaimed and admired here, when the
country achieved very good results, from both teams is probably best
known to people who do not actually like chess and their country in
any combinative form.

But enough about Corporal Gloomy!

A nice counter-balance to your "journalism."

You mean they didn't go to Dresden to help out---for a fee, of course. LOL!
