I know Gata is not US born ,,,But i still pull for him anyway.. Yes that is a great question , do we ( USA ) have any American born players playing in this tournament ? Men or Women ? I have no idea who the best Man and Woman American born players are ..

After holding the Chinese team to a draw this win may help to propel the Ladies team to a medal this year.Irina Krush won on Board 1 beating World Champion Alexandra Kosteniuk and Anna Zatonskih won against Tatiana Kosinteva.
