Does anybody have the tournament bulletins for the 1988 Seven Stars Cup Tournament of Chinese Chess in Beijing China? If so, would they kindly send me two of my games by email in a PDF Format or otherwise by regular mail. The games I especially want to receive are my two games against C. K. Lai. I won both games. C. K. Lai is a well known Xiangqi player who won the 11th European Xiangqi Championship held in Amsterdam. I would also like the score of the game I lost to the boy from England. I do not remember his name but he is the one who ried the Chinese Woman Grandmaster during the tournament and took her back to England. I want that game because it was an instructive game as to the reasons why I lost and I want to use it in a lesson and an article I plan to write. Although this happened 20 years ago, somebody out there should have those games. If you have them, please send them to me by email at [email protected] Sam Ismail Sloan

They brought in a few woman grandmasters and a few beautiful girls to play us. And yes, the representative from England ried one of those girls on the spot and took her back to England, where she promptly became the Chinese Chess Champion of England.
