Subject: Should Sam Sloan write a book about GetClub?

I think either the fake or else the real Sam Sloan
should consider writing a book about GetClub.
Frank Niro can write the introduction, and Rob
"da robber" Mitchell can say something on the
back cover. Naturally, the main contents will
focus heavily on my games-- annotated by none
other than Sanny himself.
If the GetClub program ever wins the computer
chess world championship, signed copies of the
Sam Sloan book, first edition, will be worth
millions. And if it doesn't win, all the people
involved in creating the book can still sue one
another and get rich.
As I see it, there is only one problem: coming
up with the $10,000 up front for Rob Mitchell to
write his commentary for the back cover... .

Never mind that-- now that global warming is in fashion,
the Northwest channel will be cleared for passage all the
way to India! Sure, there will still be a few small icebergs
here and there, but that didn't stop the Titanic, and so it
certainly cannot stop us. Like the Hindenburg, we will
sail the friendly skies from Vermont to Alaska to China
and back again-- maybe even resting for a stopover in the
Chess isles to refuel ("explosive" hydrogen-- but not to
worry, everything is under control).
Once Dr. Samuel Sloan wins his many lawsuits, there
will be plenty of money to start a new and better chess
organization. We can name it after Paul Truong perhaps,
or maybe even Anon-- the most famous chess player who
ever lived! It will work on the Mensa model-- though I still
don't quite know what that might be. Still, no what it
might mean, it can't be any worse than what we have now,
right? Once up and running, the world will soon come to
see just how much better things are at our rival chess
organization, and thus Bill Goichberg will have no choice
but to buy us out, for say, $10 million.
That is when we make our next move: we infiltrate the
original USCF and take it over. Bwah-ha-ha!

$10,000 for "soup"? My golly! I wonder how much Lex charges for a whole
sentence?

ps: Commodore Kingston has at last signalled from the approaches to Mont
Real, and wants to know how far it is from the mouth of the St. Lawrence to
wherever the Chess Islands are? Anyone take a stab at that one? I was
thinking maybe 3,500 miles, which ain't too bad in kayak - his ETA is now
June 2009.
