Transparency
At the beginning of a new administration in Washington, D.C. in which
President Obama directs his administration to open its records a much as
possible under the Freedom of Information Act, we have a USCF board
member who asks the court to allow her, repeat her, to decide which
materials produced in discovery will be sealed and thus kept from public
view in an open judicial proceeding. Here is the text of her request as
made to the court by counsel. Oh, the irony:
"Ms. Polgar requests that the Court issue a protective order *allowing
her to designate* documents produced in discovery by her or by third
parties as confidential and requiring that such information be filed
under seal. Such a protective order is necessary in this case because it
involves, inter alia, information relating to internet account addresses
and other matters in which Ms. Polgar has a right to privacy. The
immediate imposition of a protective order is necessary because after
the Court ordered Plaintiffs to withdraw the subpoenas they obtained in
this case ex parte, Plaintiffs then publicly filed in Illinois documents
they (apparently) received pursuant to these subpoenas before the
Court�s order issued. Moreover, it appears that Plaintiffs have doctored
documents that would have been designated confidential under a
protective order in order to redact exculpatory evidence, and then filed
the doctored documents with this Court.[1] These serious allegations
underscore the urgent need for a protective order. A protective order
also will facilitate the exchange of initial disclosures.[Emphasis added]"

Ms. Polgar claims requires and deserves the protection of the Court.
One of the community of her persecutors (which includes both Mr. Sam Sloan
and Mr. Brian Lafferty), Mr. Marcus Wayne Roberts, the self-appointed
"Ambassador of ST Kitts and Nevis, in time of war", self-appointed
spokesman acting "On behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, as her attorney-in-fact
and REGENT" and an alleged frequently-jailed crack-cocaine user, has
admitted to all the following...

Items 2)-10) are gleaned from Mr. Marcus Roberts' posts to
rec.games.chess.politics, as archived at Google.com, for the past 2 months.=
The same pattern of delusional posts containing death threats and threats
of violence by Mr. Marcus Roberts is observed going back many years. These
are but a few of the threatening posts.
Mr. Marcus Roberts is focused on members of Ms. Polgar's family, for
reasons that neither Ms. Polgar nor Mr. Truong, who had no prior knowledge
of Mr. Roberts prior to his acts of violence in public and threats (to blow=
up and bomb a chess tournament venue at a hotel) at Cherry Hill, NJ on 1-2
Aug 2007, have been able to determine.

These are but a few of the posts where Mr. Marcus Roberts blames his
misfortunes with the police on Ms. Polgar's family.
It is clear that Mr. Marcus Roberts is a lunatic. To what extent he is
motivated by the conspirators Mr. Brian Lafferty and Mr. Sam Sloan is
unclear, because it is unlikely they would advertise their incitement. What=
is clear is that Mr. Roberts is likely to try to use information gleaned
from internet account addresses to further illegally harass, threaten or
even physically harm members of Ms. Polgar's family.
Accordingly, it is most fitting and proper for the Court to issue a
protective order allowing her to designate certain documents as
confidential and requiring that such information be filed under seal. The
immediate imposition of a protective order is necessary because the threats=
from Mr. Marcus Roberts represent a clear and present danger.
These further and even more serious allegations underscore the urgent need
for a protective order.
Any prejudice to any third party involved in the suits may be regretted,
but the disadvantage flows from their own involvement with the lunatic Mr.
Marcus Roberts. There is ample and sufficient legal precedent for a Court
exercising its discretion where the physical safety of a defendant has been=
threatened by a direct or, as in the present case, indirect, conspirator of=
a plaintiff.
