If that's the level of discourse you use with your students, I suppose
we shouldn't be surprised by the declining state of the U.S. higher-
education system.
Channing clearly intended to resign his position on the EB. The only
circumstance under which this silly quibble would be of any
significance would be if he showed up at the next Board meeting and
tried to vote. The probability of this approaches zero, and in any
case would be of concern only to the other EB members.

I want to think that Joel Channing tipped over
his political king because he was bored and appalled

Personally, Larry, I read his resignation statement not as much as to future
liability over the blessed forum which is so dear to Bill's heart, but in
terms of its phrasing, how dear it will actually prove to have been already,
come a counter-suit.
That number will put any insurance amount in more shade than even the dusty

and I blame you for starting this one!] - so could... cover in a sand storm?
For those who wait for the denouement, they must know it will be more tick
