Play Chess at: http://www.getclub.com/Chess.html Now "Resign Now" Button will resign only after 4 seconds of your move play. That is if you click resign now button when computer is thi9nking it will not resign till 4 seconds has elapsed and its your turn. So Only when it is your turn it will resign but only when the button was pressewd after 4 seconds. Bye Sanny Play Chess at: http://www.getclub.com/Chess.html

One key difference may be that I use a wireless internet service provider /and/ the Mozilla Firefox browser. I get a lot of error messages like "Web page timed out" so this arrangement is far from ideal, but in general I only have serious problems with the GetClub site and two other specific sites. A better question might be: how is it possible for the GetClub program to forfeit people at random? The mysterious inner workings of the program have in the past made it necessary for countless manual interventions to fix such errors as this one, and there seems to be no end in sight. A long time ago, it was pointed out that in a pop- up window it was not possible to close the window by clicking on the "X" in the top right-hand corner, as is a Windows standard. The response was basically "Too bad! Click the other box and it will close", and I think this is typical of the sort of programming skills we are dealing with here. I would not be surprised if the program "somehow" went into a "you resigned" routine after encountering an unexpected value, such as too many reconnects or even a single reconnect where some time limit has already been exceeded by the chess program. -- help bot

I tested the and played a few moves. Got Disconnected and tried to restart the game. The game starts without any problem. Bye Sanny Play Chess at: http://www.GetClub.com/Chess.html

My son is six and I have about 40 games of his in a DB. It is every game he has ever played, with none missing. Hopefully we can keep that up.

I have found that writing down the moves is not a good idea. When I later type those moves in and let Fritz take a whack at them, his analysis can sometimes cause side-affects including shock, depression, nausea, cackling, cursing, and even gnashing of teeth. In one recent example, I was shown that I had missed a simple mate-in-three. No, definitely not. Just enjoy the game, and then forget it ever happened. -- help bot
