Jennifer Shahade aka the Chess Bitch got her job as a payoff from Don Schultz to her brother Greg Shahade. How many other people were interviewed for the position of web editor? Was the position ever announced? Was it ever advertised? I'm positive it didn't. It's clear that this was an illegal political move by Don Schultz, Joel Channing and Bill Goichberg. She doesn't write any book. She doesn't do any DVD. I went to Amazon.com and typed in the name Susan Polgar and nothing came up. I'm certain you're wrong. Jennifer Shahade is a WGM and 2-time US Women's Champion. Polgar never won any US Women's Championship. Therefore, it's obvious that Shahade is better. Sam Sloan

the most recent title is 'breaking through' i even have an inscribed copy! with a nice note from the author isbn: 1 857443810 google produces 354 references to that isbn, including links to Amazon, btw. of course, i realise that i am writing to FalSloan here, or Sloan-lite, but for anyone still interested in chess in these newsgroups, this title it is a chessic resume for all 3 polgar sisters + a closing essay by paul truong al lawrence sometimes writes here [or reads] and there is a colour plate of him with GMs Palatnik, Alburt, Spassky and S. Polgar [Florida 2003] flipping through the pics, there is also a picture i never noticed before - it is with President George Bush Sr, and his wife, taken with the 3 sisters in Budapest 1989. i also note that there is a good early essay in the book, "The joys and the difficulties of being labelled as a 'wunderkind'", and a note on the 'Angyafold' [Angel's land] district of Budapest. How strange it must be for a child to enter a tournament where almost every other child is twice as old, and then to win 10-0, then to become a master age 11. A simple Amazon search reveals that, along with a nice collection of Training DVD's she has published, so not sure where you are going with that.

WTF do you mean she's the biggest female in the US? You mean physical in size or biggest name? samsloan wrote: > [email protected] wrote: > > For once Sam has brought up a reasonable request. > > > > First JS's book sucked. For once Sam has brought up a reasonable request. First JS's book sucked. Talk about being into ones-self too much. Second her work on CLO sucks as well. She is late with topics. She doesn't go to any major events herself. She has no background as being a journalist or editor. She has 2 things going for her - family name and she's a former US Woman Champ. I'd be curious what her responsibilities really are and how much she is paid and what type of expense account she has. samsloan wrote: > Jennifer Shahade aka the Chess Bitch got her job as a payoff from Don > Schultz to her brother Greg Shahade.
