Usually gets confused looks, nervouse tapping, and an opening advantage for white. 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 and Black can pick his poison. No surprises 1.e4 e6 2. d3 KIA. 1.e4 c6 2.d4 and go for the Panov-Botvinnik. As Black: 1.e4 c6. Bring it. 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 Slav System 1.c4 c6 Slav System the black side of this repertoire has alot of cross-strategies that apply to both the Caro-Kann and the Slav, so this makes playing the opening much less work intensive.

But I've been playing new openings, like the English Defence where I know the first 3 moves. > 1. f4 Bird's opening > 2. e4 c5 Sicilian :) So I choose the other 'bird, and play a Pelikan if I can. I tried playing a Schliemann for awhile, but it seems only good for fast-paly. > 3. d4 Nf6 Kings Indian Should like to try a Traxler. But against d4 I play 1.
