Rybka beat Easy Level in just 16 moves. What was the wrong move that
lead to such a quick loss? Was there any way to delay the Mate?

The First 6 moves were the opening moves.

After that which move was wrong that GetClub should not have played?

I only showyou the games where GetClub looses. While there are many
games where it has won and I do not post them here. Because to improve
GetClub I have to focus on lost games and not those which he wins.

If all you "helpful" people would just stop answering him, he just
might go away. Please, please, please, get a killfile, use it, and
just maybe
you can hold back. It's well past time for just ignoring this
inconsiderate
spammer.

I thought GitClub was recently improved 10**4 times, or some such; if
so, why is it losing ("loosing") so badly?

Chrisf played against Beginner Level and found a faster Mate. He found
Mate in 14 moves against Beginner Level.

He gave sacrifices of 2 pawns and then quickly win the game in 14
moves.

Although White has the better of things, it
was still a game until we come to 12. ...Nc6
and the god-awful followup, 13. ...Qd7.

But let's look at the finale, shall we? At
move fifteen, White's mating attack was
stoppable via ...Qe7 (losing the Queen
but saving the King). GetClub failed to
spot this. Is Sanny aware of the special
significance of the King in chess? Of the
fact that the very object of the game is to
checkmate this specific piece? I wonder.

Now, backing up to move thirteen, we
see that Black missed ...f4, and now if
14. Bxf4 there could follow ...Bf5 and the
attack on g7 can be blocked via ...Bg6.

All that being said, this is a difficult
position for a computer to play, as the
center is blocked and White's pieces
can swarm around the Black King. It
would be wiser to direct play toward a
more open game-- one where humans
are more likely to leave something /en
prise/ through carelessness.

Well, even Rybka herself did not play
this perfectly. At move fifteen, instead
of Qf4, the move Qg5 is superior in
that it nets even more booty after the
mandatory Queen sacrifice already
discussed.
And even the move 13. Bg5 seems
almost an error in view of the dark
square decimation which cannot be
avoided after 13. Bh6 g6, 14. Bg5.

I note that Sanny and even Mr. Wlod
are in the habit of presenting blitz
games for analysis or appreciation.
In my opinion, most of these games
are doomed as far as quality is
concerned; doomed by the brevity of
time for consideration of moves and
plans.

I suppose if we are going to see any
real chess in rgc, it may turn out to be
the correspondence games of our
more pompous posers-- er, I mean
posters, Dr. IMnes and Mr. Kingston.
As for me, the best games I've seen
lately were those between two very
strong computers, Rybka and Zap.

The losing mistake was its first move. Anyone who knows anything
about chess, knows the dictum of the great Hungarian master Julius
Breyer (1893-1921): "After 1.e4, White's game is in its last throes!"
