I lack the political connections to get "gift" jobs in chess, so I have to turn to the public instead. Now I normally wouldn't have minded funding my own training, and had for the past two years, but it has come to my attention that my chessplaying peers (including those who don't even train full time) have a knack for dipping their hand into the trough whenever they need to.

And the circle continues. Ray claims to train hard, posts a thousand messages about his improvement and his one minute games, then quits due to some perceived injustice. Then he asks for money to train. When people say no or make fun, he says they don't deserve a champion then. Then he quits again. Then he comes back. Ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

I could really use a dual core laptop too. Normally I would buy my own, but it would be better if someone else paid for it. Thx.
