Does anyone know of a good line against
1.d4 Nf6 2.Nc3 c5!?
for the White side.
And what ideas in the set up and attack?

3. d5 is probably best here, and the pawn play in the center if Black plays
...e6 can get extremely complicated.

I prefer 2...d5 aiming for a French setup and the Black Bishop can duck out
to f5 before e6 is played, which is why White's move order isn't popular.

This is basically an Old Benoni, as opposed to the Modern Benoni in
which Black waits for White to commit to c2-c4 before pushing his own
c-pawn. Generally this difference is considered advantageous to White,
hence the unpopularity of the Old Benoni. I believe one good plan for
White is to try to post his KN at c4, supported by a pawn at a4.
Probably any decent book on the Benoni will cover this line, at least
to a small extent, as will most good opening encyclopedias.

FWIW, my database shows quite good outcomes for Black; the only
continuation with a positive result is 3. d5 ...

1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 c5
ECO : A00, A43, A45
713 games selected, 710 results known
Next Moves :
Bf4 ( 1/0/0 ) 100 %
a3 ( 0/0/1 ) 0 %
e3 ( 3/2/10 ) 26.6667 %
e4 ( 2/2/3 ) 42.8571 %
Nf3 ( 12/11/20 ) 40.6977 %
Bg5 ( 10/8/13 ) 45.1613 %
dc5 ( 50/33/68 ) 44.0397 %
d5 ( 191/121/149 ) 54.5553 %

3. d5 will tend to end up in that anti-benoni, where White avoids c4.
It's generally considered slightly better for White than the standard
Benoni is.

After 3. d5 Black can continue Qa5?! or e5, as well as the mainlines
d6, e6 or g6 which can easily transpose into each other.

After 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 Qa5?! 3. Bd2 is most common, and has scored 67%
After 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 e5 3. e4 is most common, with 54%

Sorry, I meant:
After 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 c5 3. d5 Qa5?! 3. Bd2 is most common, with 67%
After 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 c5 3. d5 e5 3. e4 is most common, with 54%
