Chess games should also be exempt from political sanctions same as other
sports. So why Bobby Fischer was imprisoned?

You're right...but as a chess player he's probably the greatest so far,
including Morphy.

Bobby seemed to be detached of trivial fame & name that these days
chessplayers are after, he could beat the hell out of all great chess
champions and usually refused media advertisers who wanted to pay him a lot
just for a pose in an ad. I think USA treated him unfairly because most US
politicians have become too arrogant and only wish that people suck up to
them, such men have no priciple in life an look how they have made USA be
hated by most nations.
