This game was played between Bob and Computer (Master Level) Game Played at: http://www.softtanks.com/chessgame/Chess.html Bob won in Just 16 moves !!! Bob ----- Master (White) ----- (Black) 1. P-e4 P-e6 2. P-d4 P-d5 3. N-d2 P-c5 4. N-f3 P-d4 5. N-d4 N-c6 6. B-b5 B-d7 7. N-c6 P-c6 8. B-d3 P-d4 9. o-o P-e5 10. N-c4 P-f6 11. P-f4 P-f4 12. P-e5 P-g5 13. Q-h5 K-e7 14.P-f6 K-f6 15. B-f4 P-f4 16. R-f4 K-e6 17. 1-0 Recorded at: http://www.getclub.com/playgame.php?id=DM1336&game=Chess (You can view each move of the Recorded game Animation above.) So the Game was won by Bob(White) in just 16 moves as he Check Mated the Master Level (Black) !!! Can anyone do analysis of this game. And tell my what mistake Black (Computer) did that it has to loose in just 16 moves. If you find a move wrong please explain why you feel that is wrong and what should be the other move instead. Thanks the needed Improvements have been done, Now it will not allow bob to attack quickly. Play Chess at: http://www.softtanks.com/chessgame/Chess.html Earlier the game was very weak giving out its pieces, But Now it takes pawns but in exchange give up its position. I have made the needed changes to defend its king, lets see if it increases its defence. I want the computer to defend the opponent. It will now save itself from opponent taking its king. Play Now and let me know if the game plays stronger or not. Bye Sanny. Play Chess at: http://www.softtanks.com/chessgame/Chess.html

That's one thing I like... the program's lack of strategy allows pretty wins. > 10. N-c4 P-f6 Knights that can check your king are dangerous and need to be removed. > 11. P-f4 P-f4 > 12. P-e5 P-g5 You're toast. You haven't developed any kingside pieces, you've left his knight well-posted, and you opened a path for the enemy Queen. Joe's good. He developed a winning attack 8 moves faster than me. > 13. Q-h5 K-e7 > 14.P-f6 K-f6 I see mating chances. 15. Bxf4 gxf4 16. Rxf4 Ke6 17. Qe5#, 15. Bxf4 gxf4 16. Rxf4 Ke7 17. Qe5#. And if Black doesn't take the bishop it only delays the inevitable. > 15. B-f4 P-f4 > 16. R-f4 K-e6 > 17. 1-0

And tell my what mistake Black > (Computer) did that it has to loose in just 16 moves. > > If you find a move wrong please explain why you feel that is wrong and > what should be the other move instead. To basic flaws in the computer's game that were so serious that no further analysis is needed: 1. Insufficient regard for the safety of one's king (12...g5??, 14...Kxf6?, 15...gxf4?!, 16...Ke6?! - last two just speed up the mate) 2. No regard for sensible development (7...bxc6?, 8...d4?, 9...e5?, 10...f6?, 12...g5??) So in sumy, black made about 8 bad moves in 16 moves, all of which were relatively serious mistakes, while on the other hand moving a total of two of his own pieces in the first 16 moves - which resulted in nothing but Bd7 standing about passively. White on the other hand had every on of his pieces participating in the attack. --Bjrn
